This is a complete BumpCharger system based on the Home Depot RIDGID 22" Pro Organizer case and modular toolbox system.
These cases are built-to-order to your specifications.
LEAD TIMES ON BUILDS ARE CURRENTLY 3-4 WEEKS.
IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY, CONSIDER ORDERING PARTS AND BUILDING YOUR OWN CASE !!
NOTE: 10" tablet and adapter cables not included.
Choose this option of you really need 6 ports (instead of 4), or if you prefer individual balance connectors for each cell count. Otherwise, we recommend using the 4-port MPA's below.
Revolectrix MPA Safe Parallel Board 4-port 8S (Dean's, XT-60, or EC-5 connectors)
These are what we now recommend for most customers. This board has a much smaller footprint which drastically increases open deck space. 4-ports instead of 6-ports reduces the length, and a single universal (2S-8S) balance connector turned sideways reduces the width - these are the absolute perfect boards for case decks. Same heavy-duty constructor and power handling as the original 6-port, but more compact.
This option enables standalone powering of the charger from a lead-acid battery bank (one or two 12V batteries).
Note that the RIDGID Pro Gear wheeled cart is ideal for transport of lead-acid batteries and this charger case can be latched right on top of the Pro Gear, or any other RIDGID 22" Pro series case.
Includes an external DC Input port (EC-5 female). #10 silicone stranded wire and heavy gauge crimp and solder connections are used to interconnect. Option also includes a 5 Amp 24V-to-12V DC stepdown converter for powering the internal fans and LED lighting, as well as the external 12V DC option (if added).
The Automatic Relay option automatically switches between internal power supplies and external DC input based on whether or not the case is receiving AC power.
The Manual power source switch is 4-position, so it gives you the following options:
Add this option if you need 12V power for micro chargers or other devices that cannot handle 24V.
For this AC-only case, the 12V is provided by the first 12V power supply (i.e., 12V output ground will be the same as 24V ground).
The jacks will be located in the center of the right side of the case as shown above.
This option provides a pair of USB charging ports (1A / 2.1A).
These ports will be located at the rear of the right side as shown above.
NOTE: The Bump Controller itself provides a single 5V USB port capable of supplying 500mA in host mode (USB host adapter cable not provided)
Even though this case only holds 2 PowerLab chargers, the Bump Controller is capable of controlling up to 4 chargers.
So if you want to control 2 more PowerLab chargers located outside the case (for example, on your workbench when charging at home), add this option to include a pair of servo cable jacks on the right side of the Bump Controller for connection to ports 3 and 4.
Extra BumpCharger UV Vinyl Stickers
These exterior-grade UV vinyl stickers are sized to exactly cover the RIDGID stickers on the cases.
We apply this sticker to the lid and to the case (in the handle area) of our custom cases. If you want extra matching stickers to apply to your other RIDGID cases, add some of these.
